As an author I specialize in writing paranormal fiction and fantasy. I like to mix horror, humor, fantasy and reality to create a world that’s easy to touch, see, hear and smell. I support myself via freelance writing and ghost writing, and the occasional publication.
Feel free to comment on blog posts. Diversity is, as they say, the spice of life. In a similar vein, please engage in constructive criticism regarding my fiction. While I retain copyright to all the pieces on this blog, they are not finished products and are not meant for publication. The blog is a method of improving my work and comments are therefore greatly appreciated.
Lillian, thank you for stopping and liking a recent post. I look forward to following your writing journey.
Take care,
Ivon
Thank you! I hope it can provide entertainment and perspective.
Thanks for dropping in on Fantasieze. I am still learning my way around WP. Can you please tell me (I’m not finding the answer in “Help”.) how do you link from one page to the next? Does it depend on the Theme you are using? If so, I may adopt this one.
That said, I am enjoying reading your things. 🙂
Kat
Hi AzKat, thanks for stopping by here.
As for linking – I’m not sure whether it depends on the theme, but I don’t think it should. Whenever I’m writing a post and I want to put in a link, I use the cursor to highlight whatever word I want to link back to material. Then I click on the “link” icon. It’s an image of two chain links bound together, on the top bar of my toolbar, right next to the align left/right/center buttons. If you let your mouse hover over it a text should appear specifying that it’s a link. Right next to it is an unlink button (two chain links breaking apart). I am by no means an expert on WP so I hope my explanation makes sense, and I hope it works for you.
I hope you enjoy wordpress, blogging and the blogosphere!
Thank you for liking the post about my novel in progress Humanity: The fall. I cant wait to have a read of some of your posts, especially those regarding your work on horror. Are you entering Nanowrimo this year? I’m planning to and it will be my first time. Any advice / commentary on my work would be greatly appreciated! x
I’m definitely doing Nano! I’m thinking I’ll try to post every day, at least to make sure I write something. We should try to make some kind of Nano Support group. I’ll do some in-depth reading around on your blog this weekend, see if I have any (highly unqualified) advice. Thanks for stopping by!
I really hope I manage to complete it. I’m trying to get Humanity: The fall done by then (a long shot I know but its a first draft) then do the sequel for Nano.
A support group would be a great idea and thank you for being willing to take a look, I know its not brilliant but any advice is good 🙂
Thanks for stopping by Paper, Mud and Me, Lillian, and I’m glad you liked “Death On the Church Steps.” I will be following you. We writers have to stick together.
Thanks very much! I love poking around blogs and seeing new, cool things. I’ll be keeping an eye out for more of your work.
So glad you liked “The Plot Thickens.” I think it will get even thicker before too long. ;-}
I like my plots like I like my coffee…or something.
thanks for the visit!
Thanks for the like Lillian! I’m looking into the Nano thing you mentioned, sounds fun (and a lot of hard work!) All the best with your writing.
Thanks for stopping by! Nanowrimo is stressful but can be very fun. It also helped me meet other writers in my area, which was a really important step for me to start up again with writing on a regular basis.
Thanks for dropping by The Kraken’s Wake. I also enjoy any comments and alternate perspective ony work.
Thank you for stopping by my blog and commenting! It’s always nice to get that encouragement. 🙂
I’m enjoying your blog; you have a lot of good advice(/rants) here. Good luck with your writing!
hehe, thank you! I do enjoy a good rant, it’s so…stress relieving. Good luck with your poetry, and may I ask, where did you get that beautiful picture prompt?
It was one of the picture prompts given for the contest I entered ( http://ashscrapyard.wordpress.com/2013/04/24/picture-worth-your-words-contest-3-forbidden/ ). I’m not sure where she got it.

Hi Lillian, I have nominated you for a Liebster Award. Thankyou so much for all your wonderful posts! http://highfantasyaddict.wordpress.com/2013/06/21/liebster-award-my-first-award-awesome/
You write in the perfect genres. Do you have a favorite author?
I enjoy Gail Carrigan for a good bit of paranormal and steampunk action, and for some more philosophical and historical fantasy, I usually go to Guy Gavriel Kay.
Thanks for your comment!
Hmm… Never heard of them. Methinks I have to take a look!
